Your customers demand more than what 5GHz can deliver?

Today’s private networks often rely on unlicensed wireless technologies such as 2.4 GHz or 5.4 GHz WiFi solutions for their connectivity requirements between locations.

Although these technologies are good for basic data connectivity, they have a number of drawbacks when it comes to be deployed in professional environments such as enterprises, municipalities, hospitals, education, finance, utilities, oil and gas, public safety and emerging services, government and defense, broadcasting. The main issues are the following:

- Bandwidth delivered can’t exceed a few 10\’s of megabits per second

- Bandwidth can’t be guaranteed as it suffers from nearby interferences

- Latency, typically of 1 second, is not compatible with voice over IP which requires less than 250 microsecond

To improve those current bottlenecks, 3Roam is proposing the split mount WLS 100/ 500 or the full outdoor Aero series which provide unlimited capacity and flexible network design while operating at less than 100 microsecond latency.

Thanks to the fast switch-over functionality embedded in 3Roam products, the migration path is smooth and secure as the unlicensed link quickly becomes a back up path to the new installed link. If legacy traffic needs to be transported, 3Roam TDM gateways offer from one to more than sixteen E1s, providing solutions to various configurations needs.
