3Roam provides a complete IP-based TDM transport system. E1 circuits are injected into the transport network only where E1 connectivity is needed. Transport over the entire network happens at IP level, with direct benefits including:
- Usage of maximum link capacity when there is no TDM traffic
- No need to interconnect E1 circuits at each network node, just an Ethernet cable is needed to transport both TDM and IP traffic from a link to the next.
